I have a new job. I intend to rock it. I fully agree with becoming a journalistic super hero like Hunter S. Thompson (might have to add that as a tattoo) and I plan on rocking the socks off a newly AOL-acquired Patch.com.

Damn you FCU! DAMN YOU! I go to Wegmans, looking to make delicious rice/cheese/onion casserole, fill up my shopping cart, get everything bagged and DAMN YOU! DECLINED. Freeze my check card will you? Say it wasn't your choice? Neglect to warn me before I looked like a little college spendy girl whose mom stopped sending monthly checks. DAMN YOU!
In short, I have no way to get my money until my new card arrives in the mail. But, you know, half my mail never makes it to my five by five inch mailbox anyway so I might be out of food, gas, everything for longer.
Guess I'm in for ramen, eggs and canned corn this week. |

I just had dinner with my mentor/person who hired me. It was great. I felt happy, sad, hilarious, grateful ... that whole gamut of emotions. |
